The original and still the biggest and best Lantern Parade on the Island!

What is the theme this year?
FACES AGLOW!
so get decorating your lanterns with people faces, animal faces, monster faces, clown faces, Santa faces, fantasy faces, faces with hair, faces with hats...we want to create the illusion of hundreds of bobbing illuminated characters dancing their way down the road!

  • safety briefing Thursday 20 November 4pm @ Carnival Learning Centre.

The Carnival Learning Centre presents a short season of FREE interactive lecture/demonstrations by visiting artists highlighting the African roots in modern carnival music.

Sounds of Africa!

African Drum Taster Workshop

A short course to introduce new players and those with some experience to the powerful rhythms of the African Drum (djembe). Instruments will be provided.

Fridays 1pm to 3pm

Starts 3 October for 4 sessions. £16/£8
