Come and find out more about our exciting project to create and perform ‘The Queen of Europe’ for the prestigious opening of the UK Centre for Carnival Arts In Luton in May. Artists, performers and community volunteers are being recruited to help make the costumes and present them at Luton in front of an expected audience of 20,000 people!

A trio of weekend workshops designed specially for women and led by expert women tutors. All classes run simultaneously 10am to 4pm each day £25/£15
Girls on Fire! In the main hall (and outside). Bristol based Chimera Firecrew will be sharing their expertise in circus style performance work incorporating a variety of fire techniques including poi, juggling and staffs plus a few other tricks of the ‘fire trade’!
Creating Backpacks for larger costumes In the workshop. Get comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools to make your own backpack from aluminium and wire. With Rampage Carnival Club of Luton
Strictly social networking In the Creative Media Suite. Join Wendy Lacey for the weekend as she takes you through the online networking trend and helps you create your own Myspace and/or Facebook pages. Bring pix, movies, face tunes, whatever - and a sense of fun!
