A one-time former nightclub and restaurant, the new centre has been extensively refurbished with significant capital investment from the Learning and Skills Council, Arts Council England, and the Isle of Wight Council.
Its accommodation now includes a large multi-purpose creation and rehearsal space, a fully kitted workshop for frame building and structural work, a state-of-the-art ICT and creative media suite, social seating area and resources library, spacious and secure storage rooms, office accommodation for 10 permanent staff and hot desk facilities for visiting artists and tutors.
Located in an elevated position on the outskirts of the town with masses of free parking, the centre enjoys plenty of light and airy space to work both indoors and out. Great for testing those larger structures in the unpredictable Island sea-breezes, or simply for working outdoors in the glorious Island sunshine!
